New servers and a switch to fibre

In keeping with its investments in technology, DBN has upgraded its IT architecture: A new physical server hosts two virtual servers which share tasks. A double back-up system, including one remote, secures data.
This architecture speeds up communications and reduces the time to return to normal after a problem, but consequently requires the transfer of large amounts of data. DBN decided to switch to fibre for this purpose.
